Google Ads that report in booked jobs, not clicks.

SEO compounds and ads answer today. When the phone needs to ring this week, search is the shortest line between a budget and a booked appointment, as long as somebody is actually minding it.

No obligation. We will audit your current account before you commit to anything.

What is included

Six things, every week.

Most underperforming accounts are not badly built. They are badly maintained. This is the maintenance.

Geography that matches your van

Radius targeting around a whole metro is how a local business funds clicks from 40 minutes outside its own drive time.

  • Targeting drawn to your real service area, not a lazy circle
  • Presence targeting only, so out of area searchers do not count
  • Bid adjustments by the zones that actually convert

Search terms reviewed weekly

Waste hides in the long tail. Nobody finds it in a monthly check, which is why we look every week and keep the negative list growing.

  • Weekly search term review with negatives added the same day
  • Job seekers, students, and DIY searches excluded on purpose
  • Competitor brand terms bid only where the maths supports it

Landing pages that match the ad

Dropping paid traffic on a homepage is the most common and most expensive mistake in google ads management for local business.

  • A page per service, matched to the ad group and the query
  • Phone number and form above the fold on a phone
  • Built and hosted by us, so a change takes an hour and not two weeks

Call and form tracking

If the platform does not know which clicks became jobs, its bidding is guessing. Feeding it real outcomes is the single biggest lever in the account.

  • Dynamic number insertion, with call recording where it is lawful
  • Offline conversion import from your CRM once a job books
  • Form and booking events tracked separately, never lumped together

Extensions and assets, all of them

Sitelinks, callouts, structured snippets, images, and a call extension. Free real estate that most accounts leave half filled in.

  • Every eligible extension enabled and written properly
  • Ad copy tested in pairs, not swapped on a hunch
  • Scheduling matched to when your phones are actually answered

Reporting on booked work

Impressions are not a result. Every monthly report leads with calls, forms, and jobs, and it says what we would change next.

  • Cost per call and cost per booked job, tracked over time
  • A read on what we changed last month and whether it worked
  • Account access in your name, so the data is yours if you leave

The process

What the first 90 days look like.

Paid moves faster than SEO, so the milestones are closer together.

DAYS 1 TO 7

Audit and tracking

We audit the existing account, install call and form tracking, and agree what a lead is actually worth to you. Nothing runs until that number exists.

DAYS 8 TO 21

Build and launch

Campaign structure, tight geography, ad copy, extensions, and the landing pages. Launch small and deliberately underspending.

DAYS 22 TO 60

Prune and scale

Weekly search term work, negatives, bid changes. Budget follows what books, and we hold back rather than spend to hit a target.

DAYS 61 TO 90

Feed the machine

Offline conversions start flowing back from your CRM. Bidding stops optimizing for form fills and starts optimizing for jobs.

Proof

Real numbers, and a sample of the reporting.

Buzz Cybersecurity: what happens when the free clicks come first

Buzz is a local SEO client rather than an ads client, and we lead with that on purpose.

The point of the number below is the order we recommend: earn the map pack, then buy the gaps paid can fill.

An account run on top of rankings like these spends far less to hold the same ground.

#2.2Average map position across Irvine for its core security searches, from #5.0
91%Share of local voice in Irvine, from 52%
#1.0Average map position across Corona for its managed IT searches, from #3.3

Questions

Frequently asked questions

What is actually included in a Google Ads management retainer?

Weekly search term work, bid and budget management, ad and extension writing, landing pages, tracking, and a monthly report on booked work. Ad spend is separate and paid by you directly to the platform.

If an agency will not tell you which of those it does, assume it is doing the first two.

Who holds the account, and what happens if we part ways?

The account is created under your name and billed to your card. We manage it with access, not ownership. If you leave, the campaigns, the history, and the conversion data stay with you.

Agencies that run clients inside their own manager account do it so the data cannot leave, and that alone should end the conversation.

How fast do search ads start working?

Calls usually start in the first week.

Efficiency takes six to eight weeks, because that is how long it takes to build a negative keyword list that fits your market and to get enough conversions for the bidding to learn.

Anyone promising a good cost per lead in month one is either lucky or about to be wrong.

Should I run Google Ads or Local Services Ads?

If your trade is eligible for the screened program, start there, because you pay per lead rather than per click and the unit sits above everything else on a phone.

Search ads then cover the queries the screened unit does not serve. Most local businesses should eventually run both, in that order.

When would you tell me not to run ads?

When nobody answers the phone, when the budget is too small to gather data in your category, or when your average job value cannot carry your market's click prices.

We would rather spend that first month fixing your speed to lead than spending your money badly. Ads make an existing problem more expensive, faster.
