Service

A fractional CMO who also runs the work.

Channels are the easy part. The hard part is the offer, the follow up, and who owns the number. That is a leadership job, and most owners are doing it at ten at night between everything else.

No obligation. The first call is a plan, whether or not you hire us.

Matt holds the ClickFunnels Two Comma Club award from 2019, for taking a local dental practice past seven figures a year on Facebook and Instagram ads.

What is included

Six things a marketing lead owns.

Most fractional arrangements are advice. This one is advice plus the team that carries it out, which is the only version that changes a number.

The offer, first

Nothing downstream fixes a weak offer. Before we spend on a channel we pressure-test what you sell, to whom, and at what margin.

  • Fractional cmo for small business, offer and pricing pressure-tested first
  • Positioning against the three competitors you actually lose to
  • A guarantee or risk reversal your operations can honor

One plan, on one page

A 90 day plan with an owner and a date on every line. If a plan needs a slide deck to explain it, nobody will follow it in week six.

  • Sequenced by what compounds, not by what is exciting
  • Each item has a named owner and a live status
  • Rewritten each quarter against what the numbers did

The team that executes

This is the difference. You are not buying a monthly call with someone who then hands you a task list. The same arrangement covers the doing.

  • SEO, content, ads, web, and automation all under one plan
  • No vendor coordination for you to project manage
  • Human operators direct the work and stay accountable for it

Budget allocation

Deciding what not to fund is most of the job. Every quarter the mix moves toward what produced booked work and away from what did not.

  • A channel mix with a stated reason behind each share
  • Spend paused rather than defended when it stops working
  • Seasonality planned before the season, not during it

The follow-up system

Most local businesses do not have a lead problem. They have a follow-up problem, and it is invisible until somebody counts.

  • Speed to lead measured and fixed before more spend goes in
  • Missed call text back, nurture, and reactivation sequences
  • A CRM your team will actually use, or we build you one

One number, owned

A standing monthly review on booked work, with somebody senior accountable for it. That accountability is what you are really hiring.

  • Thirty minutes a month, same slot, no slide deck
  • Leading indicators reported alongside the lagging ones
  • Bad months named as bad months, with what we are doing about it

The process

What the first 90 days look like.

Diagnosis before prescription. The first month is deliberately quiet on spend.

DAYS 1 TO 14

Diagnose

Where leads come from now, what they cost, what converts, and what happens after somebody calls. Usually the surprise is in that last part.

DAYS 15 TO 30

Write the plan

One page, 90 days, an owner and a date on every line, and an explicit list of what we are choosing not to do this quarter.

DAYS 31 TO 75

Execute in the open

The team ships against the board and you can see the board. No monthly mystery followed by a report that explains what you already suspected.

DAYS 76 TO 90

Review and reallocate

What produced booked work gets more. What did not gets cut or fixed, out loud, with the reasoning written down for next quarter.

Proof

Owning the whole funnel, twice.

One long multi-channel engagement and one current client, both run the way this page describes.

Multi-location practice group, Orange County

Past seven figures a year, across search and paid social together

Matt held the marketing lead seat for this group for years: the offer, the funnel, the ad accounts, and the search program, all under one plan rather than four vendors.

The practice crossed seven figures a year on that work, and it is the engagement the ClickFunnels Two Comma Club award was given for.

Buzz Cybersecurity: one plan, two markets, ten months

Two offices, two profiles, one name, and one plan covering the site, the profiles, the content, and the reporting. Nothing here was a clever tactic.

It was a sequence, held to for ten months, with somebody accountable for the number each month.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

What does a fractional CMO actually do for a small business?

Owns the growth number instead of advising on it. That means the offer, the channel mix, the budget, the follow-up system, and one monthly review where somebody senior says what worked and what did not.

In our version the same arrangement covers the execution, so you are not left holding a task list.

Can a small business actually afford this?

The comparison that matters is one junior in-house marketer, not a full-time chief marketing officer. A junior hire needs training, a manager, and a strategy handed to them.

This gives you the strategy and the team for less than that hire, which is the whole reason the model exists. Figures come after a conversation, not off a web page.

How is this different from just hiring an agency?

An agency runs the channel you bought and reports on that channel.

A marketing lead decides which channel you should be buying, tells you when to stop buying one, and looks at your follow-up and your offer even though neither is billable.

We do both, and the second one is where the money usually is.

Who actually does the work?

A small human team directing an AI workforce. Matt holds the marketing lead seat and the strategy.

The agents handle research, drafting, monitoring, and reporting at a volume a team this size could not otherwise cover, and the human operators direct the work and stay accountable for it.

The faces on the plan board are those agents, and they are AI-generated images rather than photographs.

Who is this wrong for?

Businesses that want a pair of hands rather than a decision maker, owners who will not hand over the offer, and anyone whose fulfilment cannot absorb more work.

We also turn down anyone expecting results in thirty days. If you want somebody to run the ads you already decided on, hire a specialist and keep your money.
